December Excitement!

I called this post “December Excitement,” because I feel like I have too many posts that are just called “Upcoming Content,” and also oh man it’s December.

Most of my non-Thanksgiving-consumed writing time recently was taken by two articles I produced in conjunction with the great people over at Medium’s OneZero. You can find those here and here. Please check them out if you haven’t already. I really appreciate that they took a chance on featuring me.

In the coming weeks, I’ve got a number of game and audio articles in the pipeline.

I should soon be receiving a review unit of the OneOdio A10 noise-canceling headphones, and I’m hoping to have a review live early next week. I’ve only tried one other noise-canceling headphone at that price, and it wasn’t a great experience at all, so the bar the OneOdio pair has to clear should be no sweat for it!

I’ve got a couple of Essential Games articles in the queue that I’ve been stagnating on, but I’m finally moving forward on them. One is about a couple of Nintendo’s classic SuperFX chip games, and the other is about Neverwinter Nights, BioWare’s sometimes-overlooked classic. The latter just got a new console port I’ve been enjoying.

Finally, I have a couple more articles planned for my “Bests of the Year” series…though I’m honestly not sure if they’ll see the light of the day. I usually do a Game of the Year selection, but I’m not sure if I’ve finished enough games this year to warrant that being interesting or valid. Also, I usually do a “My Personal Favorite Headphones” selection….but it’s pretty obvious that these two recent AKG models (K371, K361) would crush any other option…so there’s a spoiler for that article I might not write.
