Starbucks Iced Coconut Milk Mocha Macchiato Review: A Taste Explosion
I love this drink, and I'm so happy it's back.

The Iced Coconut Milk Mocha Macchiato has a really long name, but it's absolutely worth remembering. You get delicious coffee, coconut milk, some white and milk chocolate, and a splash of caramel syrup on top.
It's way more delicious than its relatively light (for a Starbucks Grande) 210 calories would suggest. It lives in a wonderful middle space between straight coffee and the sugar wonderland of the frappuccino beverages.
Depending on the day of the week you ask me, I might say that it's the best drink Starbucks makes.
You can taste all the tastes, and they roll smoothly together. That's my main requirement for a food or a beverage. The coffee comes through in spite of all the other stuff in there, and the result is a very satisfying mouth experience without any overly bitter aftertaste.
A helpful hint: Wait about 60 seconds before enjoying your CocoMoMac. It takes a little time for all of the ingredients to seep together into their magical deliciousness.
Another plus for this drink is that it still tastes okay when you get to the end. Some of the other iced Starbucks products get a little thin and watery at the bottom, but not this one. That's thanks to the thickness of the coconut milk, I think.
I'd say it tastes about 60 percent as good (this is exact science) when you get to the bottom tenth of your cup, but that's vastly better than the icy dregs of an Iced Mocha.
Shudder. I just thought about drinking the bottom of an iced mocha, and it wasn't pretty!
As you can see from this nutrition page, it's not exactly a health beverage. But it's the perfect desert-like treat when you still want some coffee and don't want to go Full-On Frap.
